Although the area by which the place stands today has an historical background, the emergence from the Saudi dynasty started in central Arabia in 1744. That calendar year, Muhammad ibn Saud, the ruler from the town of Advertisement-Dir'iyyah near Riyadh, joined forces by using a cleric, Muhammad ibn Abd-al-Wahhab, to produce a new political entity.
